Falling Out of Love with SF

"I CAN'T wait to go to San Francisco!!!" Two years ago, the ambitious, naive, and wide-eyed girl said when she wanted to go to college. It's funny how much can change.

I want to preface that I have never been so thankful for an experience in my life. This was the most significant decision I've made thus far; it's a big choice to move away from home and comfort. However, two years later, I've fallen out of love with it here. The saying goes, "I left my heart in San Francisco," but I've left mine in San Diego. Being so far from my parents, the sunshine, my family, and the beach is something that I can't accept any longer. At any inconvenience I say, "I wanna go home." I truly think it's the people that make the place home. I love my roommates (most of them), but they make this apartment home. They truly do. But they both know I'm unhappy in SF.

So, I'm excited for what's to come!! I truly feel like the right decision is right in front of me, and I cannot wait until I'm home again. See you soon San Diego.
